The development and introduction of PeopleSearch a number of years ago demonstrated the value of a NDUS directory. The ability to locate people, see job detail, and review org charts across the university system has become an important tool for many.

In October 2018, CTS launched a new and improved directory service called Company Directory housed in PeopleSoft HR. Concurrently, PeopleSearch was retired May 1, 2019.
